Welcome to support for Weather Fables, a storybook weather app for iPhone and iPad: the real forecast from Apple Weather, told each day by one of sixteen painted Companions.

Where does the weather come from?
From Apple Weather, the same service as the Weather app on your iPhone. The Companions' lines, the verdicts and the almanac are ours, written around Apple's data.
The forecast will not load.
The app needs an internet connection to ask Apple for a forecast. Check the connection and try again a little later. If you use "my location", make sure Weather Fables may use your location while you use it, in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
The app says the phone could not find you.
Your iPhone could not get a position in time: indoors, a weak signal, or Location Services off. Try again, or search for your town by name; it works just as well.
Who tells my weather, and can I choose?
Pythia tells it for everyone. With the whole sky, either the sky chooses the Companion who fits the day, once a day, or you pick one in the Companions tab and the whole app follows that voice: pages, widgets, notifications, verdicts.
What are the three chips, and why "no"?
A plain yes or no for hanging out the washing, walking the dog and riding a bike, worked out from the coming hours: rain, wind, cold, heat, thunder, fog and the light left in the day. Tap a chip to see the reason. They are our own interpretation of Apple Weather's data, for convenience, not safety advice.
My widget says "since 7:30".
The widget shows the forecast the app last fetched; it never fetches on its own. Open the app and it refreshes, and iOS refreshes it in the background when it allows. "Since 7:30" simply tells you how old the picture is.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings in the app (the button at the top right) and under The whole sky tap Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. With Family Sharing, the purchase must be shared by the family member who made it.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Weather Fables, or in the App Store app. A yearly subscription with a free trial converts to a paid one unless you cancel before the trial ends; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
